Why won’t Apple allow flash on iPad?
flash/ipad FAQPublished March 9, 2010 at 4:00 am No CommentsI don’t think apple can honestly advertise iPad as providing the best internet surfing experience without Flash. Apple say that Flash will not work properly on the iPad – it uses up the battery too fast, etc. If this is truly the case, then the iPad is a pretty flawed design. We had a five year old iBook in the house here that handled Flash just fine! I agree with the pundits who say Apple is being disingenuous about Flash (eg: zdnet “iPad’s lack of Flash is all about lock-in“)
